In a street-fight, no gloves, no holds barred, full-contact, no weapons, in their primes, who would win Bruce Lee or Mike Tyson? In this fight, Bruce Lee will be wearing his quintessential Kung-Fu shoes optimized for asphalt surface fighting and pajamas. Mike Tyson will be wearing boxing shorts and shoes optimized for an asphalt surface.

I would love to be able to say Bruce Lee but Tyson, in his prime, was among the most fearsome fighters the world has ever seen.

It is a given that in the boxing world, the best heavyweight boxer will destroy the best of welterweights. It's a no contest. I cannot for the life of me imagine any of the welterweights above giving Tyson pause. They would, however, make interesting opponents for Lee.





On top of this, Tyson (who is sometimes underrated as a boxer - great skills in his prime under D'Amato) was reminiscent of earlier fighters akin to those of the Jack Johnson era - a natural streetfighter turned boxer.





Tyson is a streetfighter, a boxer, a puncher, as bad*ss as they come and borderline crazy (without his meds) who would do anything to win against anyone.





Have to give this one to Tyson.

However, Bruce Lee would win, no contest. Tyson is slow compared to him.

Reply:You would like to think Mike Tyson because he showed us that he could knock anyone out in his prime and he probably got some of his reputation on the streets. However I think that Bruce Lee would win even though he weighed about 125 lbs. Mike Tyson always was the small heavyweight fighter and seemed really fast to THOSE guys. Bruce Lee is fast compared to Floyd Maywhether and he would be lightning compared to Tyson. This is a street fight so Bruce Lee would have all the room in the world to back up and evade Tyson. Tyson couldn't corner Lee off and would have to literally chase him. Lee would frusterated Tyson by toying him and eventually would catch him with nasty kick to the chin. Bruce Lee is small but he could kick a heavy bag higher than Mike Tyson could punch one. That said he would chin check Tyson with a couple kicks and it would all be over. Tyson has a soft chin anyways.

Tyson was all about brute force, if he connects with a punch Bruce wll feel it...only if he connects with a punch.
